Snow-white colour.
Just add water.
A one-component polymeric gypsum consisting of high-strength gypsum, mineral fillers and modifying additives. According to its characteristics, it is practically no different from a two-component, acrylic resin-based gypsum. At the same time, it looks more natural.
Attention - the product needs to be protected from water absorption (impregnate or lacquer).
It is an odourless material that contains no solvents.
All that is needed to make the mixture is a scale, a mixer and mixing containers and water.
The material is completely non-flammable.
Suitable for the production of figures, models, sculptures, decorations, prototypes, architectural elements, replicas, ceiling and wall panels, scenographic elements
Synonyms: Cast stone, liquid stone
The mixture consists of high-strength gypsum, mineral fillers and modifying additives. The binder is natural gypsum.
It is a uniformly mixed, ready-to-use, dry mixture of snow-white colour. Due to its predominantly gypsum composition, it contains no harmful substances. Allows ideal casting without a vibrating table.
LASTRYKO polymer gypsum is prepared by mixing the powder with water in a ratio of:
100:22 (100 grams of powder and 22 grams of water).
The amount of water quoted is approximate; the proportion should be selected before application depending on the requirements and the type/size of mould you are pouring into.
The correct proportions are key to achieving optimum mix properties - the less water, the harder the product.
Use a scale to measure the ingredients!
APPLICATION:
Recommendations for the work:
Setting time: 25-40 minutes (depending on environmental temperature)
REMEMBER the bonding time.
As soon as the gypsum is poured into the water, it starts to cross-link and you have 10-15 minutes (at room temperature) before the mixture is pre-cured (you can extend this time with a supplements).
Plan the amount of gypsum to be mixed so that you have time to mix it, apply it and wash the mixing tools and container.
Specific gravity: 1000 ml - 2135 gr (1750 gr gypsum + 385 gr water)
How do you calculate the amount of polymer gypsum and water required?
New mould? Measure its volume with water and then calculate the values for obtaining the proportions of the ingredients.
All values are given in grams.
X - volume measured with water, grams
G - weight of gypsum (powder), gram
W - water weight, gram
G=X*1.75
W=G*0.22
Example 1:
I have 180 gr of water in the mould:
Weight of gypsum (powder): 180*1.75 = 315 grams
Weight of water: 315 *0.22 = 69 grams
Inorganic pigments based on iron oxides are suitable for colouring the mixture, pigments can be found in our other auctions (dosage 0.1-8 % in relation to dry mass).
Colour combination:
Choose the proportions yourself by trial and error to achieve the right shade.
For the Marble technique, dedicated pigments in liquid form.
